These Snugs Are Leaving Us With A Warm Fuzzy Feeling!

November 16th, 2023

If you’re lucky enough to have a dedicated snug space or you want to give your lounge all the cosy vibes, here are just some of our clever customers who have put together beautiful spaces using a range of gorgeous colours!

1. This space is ol’ive ever wanted!

Using a beautiful olive as the backdrop for a log burner creates a gorgeously rich feel. Bancha by Farrow & Ball is a mid-century green, perfect for those who want to embrace stronger colour in the home.

@houseofblid has also created an inviting reading nook with a comfy chair and a range of books to choose from. We could just imagine sitting there of an evening getting all snuggled up with warm lighting and a good page turner!

2. Embracing the natural

Keeping with the green theme, this space shows you how a true forest green used on every wall can create a real sense of envelopment. Beverly by Farrow & Ball is a dependable and uncomplicated colour that is a beautiful addition to any home.

@breachrenovations’ client has used all natural materials to complete the space. Warm wood tones, hessian and leather have all been layered to create a beautiful organic look which is perfect for feeling relaxed in.

3. This deep dark blue is too good to be true!

Another bold colour, Hague Blue from Farrow & Ball has green undertones, perfect for large or small rooms.

With Brilliant White on the ceiling and trim and a natural wood flooring, @md_painting_decorating has created a winning combination that gives the space a beautifully airy yet sophisticated feel. Perfect for relaxing in after a long day.

4. Cosiness intensified with low ceilings, natural beams and a neutral scheme.

Low ceilings could leave you feeling caved in, but certainly not in this space! By colour drenching in an off-white, the space exudes comfort. Slaked Lime by Little Greene is made with a combination of minerals to give a warm and soft appearance.

@restorerofruins has used specialist finishes on this historical property with his client adding pops of colour and pattern through soft furnishings and artwork. We could spend hours in this room!

5. Cosiness to the maximalist

Using a dark tone colour palette can be a dramatic way to make a space feel warm and inviting. Incorporating metallics and complementary wallpaper adds interest and a real feeling of glamour! Painting the ceiling is also a great way to create a cocooning feeling within the space.

@no.16_thedreamershotel has used jewel tones to create a chic, maximalist scheme, allowing you to snuggle up in style! Dulux Sapphire Salute, Dulux Mallard Green and Mylands FT-001 Rich Gold has completely transformed the space.
